A tale as old as time, it had to be done at some point and it's better to get it done early on. Character pages from CV: www.comicvine.com/captain-america/29-1442/www.comicvine.com/batman/29-1699/Location: Streets of Detroit at night. Unpopulated, there are parted cars and such around but nothing else truly useful. Captain America is Steve, and is equipped with his normal shield. (not the weird energy one) Batman is Bruce, and is equipped with his normal Batsuit(not the super suit), unlimited batarangs, gabbling hook, and 3 smoke bombs. Morals are on. Victory via any method. (Although anything other than KO is unlikely) They start 50 yards apart. If this is one sided I will edit the rules to fix this. Sorry if this is a little mainstream but I actually think this sucker is highly debatable. |

Ok i'll start. Obviously this match can go either way. Batman should be equally skilled( or slightly better ) than Steve. But Cap has the superiority in terms of strength and speed/reaction time. Batman can beat cap with a good combo of skills, batarangs and smkoe bombs. But cap can also win if he land a few hits with his shield. Cap has the potential to one shot Batman( since his shield was enough to hurt Hulk and one shot helicopters ) but i highly doubt that this it's in cap's character. But IMO, very few shield dashes will be enough to put down Bruce. I think i might give the majority to cap. 6/10  |

Honestly too close to call. I think Steve is superior physically but Batman has been gadgets and broader Martial Arts knowledge.
Who is the better fighter? Not something I can call.

I believe batman should win the majority. Simply put, that physical advantage isn't going to be something that should be much of a problem for Bruce

I think Captain America should take 6/10 from Batman under normal conditions... the fight is very close overall...imo

OP doesn't specify which type of smoke, and batman always carries several types. And he's taken blows from stronger people and whitstood. It a few blows won't be enough. He's not taking him down with just a few hits, he ain't that strong. |
