Location:C= Cyclops B= Batman Midday, all obstacles are 5 feet tall and made out of concrete. Rules:-Both are aware where the other begins and they are visible (due to obstacles being 5 feet). -Batman knows Cyclops has a powerful offensive ability, Cyclops knows Batman is a stealth oriented character. -Morals apply. -Standard elimination rules apply. Gear:Batman (Bruce)- standard cowl (solely for armor, no other features), standard batarangs, grappling gun. Batman is obviously limited to these resources and cannot access any other tools/advantages. Cyclops - Standard X-Men armor and visor.

I think I'd take Cyclops to be honest.

Batman, thought not by complete stomp. Time and again Bruce has demonstrated he can disappear right in front of people. And he is a much better fighter, smarter all around more skilled.
His stealth will give him the win thought.

Completely agreed stealth should play a role here. I'd say it's pretty much required, a direct approach would be suicide.

Direct is not at all Batman's style, especially against someone he knows to be lethal. He'll stealth out cyclops get so close then take him out before Cyke knows what's happening. If Bruce can disappear from superman and other characters with super-senses he can disappear from cyke

I could see Batman winning this using stealth and the environment

Because of Cyke's powers..you can only make a scenario where Batman can win.Under most circumstance...Cyclops would shred Bats.

Well, Vance, in this case I'd say it comes down to what's superior, Bat's stealth or Cyclops' tactics in combat? I'm not giving an opinion, but I'd like to believe a debate can be made for either side here.

In this scenario..Bats would probably win.His stealth is far beyond Cyclops' comprehension...i'm just saying you can only make a scenario for a win for Bats.In most instance Cyclops would one-shot Bats.

Bats is superior to Cyke in tactics. Far superior.

I think Bruce could win if he close the distance by using stealth. Otherwise, Cyke has a good chance of taking this. =]

k4tz- Maybe add a second scenario that doesn't have stealth as such an advantage for Bruce.

ckal: But then the advantage would go to Cyke. I don't think you can actually have a fair fight with these 2. Because it depends on the scenario, both can have an easy win over the other, IMO. =]

In order for it to be fair you would have to compensate Bruce for the loss of his primary tactic. He'd need something like a ruby quartz shield or something.

Still think bats can stealth win this with the obstacles.

I don't possibly see how stealth plays much of a factor for Batman anymore. It is in the middle of the day, the obstacles are spread out and only 5 feet tall and most are even less wide, with a much easier way of Cyclops keeping track of his surroundings (instead of being in an alley way at night, he can keep his back to the outside while looking into the middle). If Cyclops knows his enemy is stealth oriented, he won't go running directly into the middle of the arena either where he would have a smaller probability of success.

He's disapeared in broad daylighg before and the obstacles give him cover to close the distance in my opinion. Plus Cykes blasts have been dodged before.
