Jean Paul Valley crushes Daredevil without daredevil having any real ability to seriously hurt him.

The armor wasn't that significant at that point. After all, he more than felt Bane's strikes and even admitted to practically having his vision going red when Bane tried to choke him through the kevlar.

Bane was on venom and even off it, he is stronger then Daredevil. Jean-Paul Valley's knight fall armor took grenade and anti-vehicle shots. He has flamethrowers, deadly blade launchers and claws. He walked from near point blank explosions. He took a sledgehammer in the back and got back up. DD needs more then Billy clubs to take him down.

No need to state the obvious. However, the point was how significant Bane's strikes were, and he's pretty much low-level superhuman, where-as Daredevil's technical knowledge allows him to find ways to hurt durable characters like Mr. Hyde. I concur the armor warrants an advantage, though. The OP says the armor used during the FIRST fight with Bane. It was upgraded after that fight. This one seemed to provide some durability and just basic claws.

Still giving it to Valley even with the first armor.

That's fine, I just wanted to clear up what he was using here. I'd still dispute he'd more than feel a strike from a baton, let alone a nerve strike to a limb.

Never striking someone with a layer of metal is impossible with Daredevil's attributes. Even the first armor had in clad heat to toe in metal and plating.

Jean-Paul Valley should take this..

Never striking someone with a layer of metal is impossible with Daredevil's attributes. Even the first armor had in clad heat to toe in metal and plating. As I said, somewhere like the chest won't work, but I see no reason why a nerve strike to an arm or leg would fail to inflict damage. Otherwise, you're implying that classic armor puts him on par with the likes of Tombstone, to which I'd disagree.

Daredevil (with the rules you have gave) wouldn't know what type of armor Jean-Paul Valley is wearing.. so Daredevil wouldn't start off with trying to nerve strike his limb..
And from the few scans I've seen, Jean-Paul Valley durability is above anything Daredevil can dish out IMO..

Daredevil hurting Tombstone with nerve strikes really feels wrong if you ask me.

Daredevil hurting Tombstone with nerve strikes really feels wrong if you ask me. He couldn't, which is my point. I don't believe the armor protecting his limbs is even close to the durability of Tombstone's (not an insult, it takes Spider-Man not holding back to even harm him).

I still contend that it is far enough to whitstand what DD can give out and Valley is sufficiently skilled and physically potent, in combination with the armor, to win.

Regarding the second half, I agree. I wouldn't make this match if I didn't believe both parties had the capabilities to win But the first half, as you likely expected, I disagree. I think Daredevil's own agility, radar, effective use of nerve strikes to limbs, and baton tosses could let him take it in a good fight. I really wish more people debated, because I loathe playing devil's advocate in my own threads *shines the Vance signal*

How much of Valley's body is covered by the armor?
