Current versions of both Morals are off, both are fighting at their best.. Win by death or KO, No BFR. Location:Without the people though. The city is unpopulated. So, who, do you guys believe that could win this?

Steel is harder than rock. Colossus wins.
What? Somebody has to say that at least once in every Thing/Colossus battle.

Btw, why did you chose Peter? =] Ok, let me BS something up XD So, I think Colossus is more durable, if only by a little bit. I also seem them being nearly equal in the skill area. Strength wise, I may give it to Colossus by a little for the sole face that I have heard that Thing isn't 100 tons.

As far as i know, Thing has been stated to be 90 toner, but based on feats he is 100+, so i don't think Colossus is really stronger, or by a large margin anyway. As for durability, he might be slightly more durable as well. But skill wise, i have seen plenty of impressive feats from Thing like giving good fight to Hercules, Namor( even though it might be PIS, he has even gave him a good fight under water ) and Wonder man. Could you list me some feats for Colossus( so i could expand my knowledge on him as well )?

The Hercules feat could be creditted to the fact that Herc fights without skill a good portion of the time (Or so I have observed) The Namor feat is PIS, IMHO. Wonder-Man is a hard nut to crack. I'm not sure what to make of this. To Be Honest with you, I'm not the person you should go to for Colossus feats. That would be Erik or someone else's domain.

@strafe: Well, indeed Herc might not fight at the best of his skill, but still he is not a dumb fighter either. I still count it as a decent showing, since thing was fighting against a stronger character than him anyways. As i said, it is PIS, but still is worth mentioning IMO. Anyways, i understand. Thanks for stating your opinion.

I would say Colossus. Back when he first joined the X-men Cyclops trained him in judo, which he used effectively on Sasquatch, who was both bigger and stronger than him at the time. The Thing might be more skilled, but Colossus's skill deals specifically with enemies who are bigger than he is.

I'll support Ben for the win. I don't think that there is a lot between their respective strength levels, with both being around 100 tonnes on the crappy Marvel Strength scale. In reaction and combat speed, I am tempted to give the advantage to Ben (by a marginal amount) but not enough to make a significant difference. Ben retains his above average atheltic human reaction speed and agility while in 'Thing' form. For durability, I think Colossus has a small edge. Colossus is significantly more durable to temperature extremes but against blunt force trauma, there is not a great amount in it. Like it or not I think this battle comes down to combat skill and battle savvy and this is where the Thing eclipses Colossus. Yes we can all point to examples of Colossus's martiaal arts skills that he has clearly displayed something like 6 - 8 times. However the Thing has been fighting powerhouses above his weight class for 4 decades and it's fighting skills that have let him hang in there with the likes of the Hulk. The Thing has been described as being a great hand to hand combatant and has developed his own fighting style, combining a mix of boxing, wrestling and judo moves. On top of all this, he is the first Marvel powerhouse to really develop combat tricks using the environment, like encapsulating a villian with an 'I' beam, who using a high pressure water pipe to knock down a flying opponent, or use a telephone pole to hit someone at range or tear up the asphalt road and use like a rope (whipcord) to send a wave to hit his opponents, knocking them off balance. It is this inventive use of weapons to hand that Colossus I think would struggle to match and this could turn the tide.
