I believe so. I even got through those JL Taskforce issues I was missing a few months back. It's not much material to upload, a little over 100 scans.

I'd be lying if I said the man is not very good, but I expected more showings. That, and he has gotten the shaft in recent years, mostly in Batgirl's series.

I'm thinking of doing a Null-ARC respect thread, dedicated to the Nulls overall and not a specific Null. Thoughts?

creator- I agree that it would be a good idea. Which characters in particular did you have in mind?

I think that any major character that either goes through a major revamp / power change could be worth looking at but it boils down to people wanting to capture that info. The idea is that we build the library of info up as we go rather than back populate. For instance the new DC 52 titles are a good opportunity as some characters have changed somewhat and collecting feats on any of these characters should go to show if they differ in power level from their previous incarnation prior to Flashpoint.

I think the DCNU presents a great opportunity for DC characters. But, don't characters that are GL related and Bat related still maintain their past continuity? Another thing is that recently, DC said as of now, all Crisis events never happened DC history. It's so damn confusing what DC is doing, they should have just done a proper relaunch and wiped the slate clean with all of their characters, but no.
On the Marvel side, I think Nova would be a good pick, as he was essentially rebooted and upgraded in Annihilation. He is currently dead (presumed), but appears to be coming back in a major way in 2012.
Technically, this could be done with any character with an existing respect thread, but it definitely makes sense for characters who have just gone through a big change, like Iron Man.

Unfortunately, no. My Surfer folder has over 1000 scans and even at my current state I'm not nearly vigorous enough to upload and analyse them all. Too bad but understandable. I have a Word file with a load of feats typed out for Luke, but I doubt a comprehensive respect thread will ever be made for him or at least not any time soon. Just too many appearances, too many powers, too many feats. Who do you have a respect thread planned for in the foreseeable future? Aye, I feel you, it's annoying. I usually save my work on Word before copy-pasting it at the main respect thread. I have done something similar with a couple of my respect threads but not too often.

Assembling feats from novels must be even more difficult. In the comics, you can at least skip through the issue rather fast, whereas the level of attention required while doing so in a book has to be increased tenfold.

Assembling feats from novels must be even more difficult. In the comics, you can at least skip through the issue rather fast, whereas the level of attention required while doing so in a book has to be increased tenfold. It is more time-consuming, but I can handle that with characters such as Exar Kun, who has only ever appeared in three books total, or even Palpatine with all of his appearances. But with Luke, he has appeared in about four or five dozen books and just so happens to be one of the single most versatile and most powerful characters in that universe's canon. That would simply be too huge a thread to hope for completion, although I really would like for such a thread to be made. On that subject, Anakin/Vader is a character that I need to create a thread for at one point or another. I have read most major appearances for him, and he is a favorite of mine. I think the only major appearance I have not yet read for Anakin is Jedi Trial, but otherwise, I could more or less make a thread for him whenever I feel like it (but first I need to finish the Yoda one ). Similarly, I will have to revamp my thread for Palpatine when the Plagueis novel is released. Since that was the first respect thread I made, there were some needed improvements I noticed in hindsight, and having corrected most of them on CV, I wanted to transfer it here. But the powers section is now too long and no longer fits in a single post here anymore, and when the Plagueis novel comes out, there will probably be even more to fill in. Respect threads are awesome, but when it comes to Star Wars characters, they can be tedious to compile. Do want. Do you have any other characters planned, or are you not thinking that far ahead yet?

I just put up the Echo respect thread. I didn't add any scans to it yet but I have them all and I simply have to paste the links in the thread so for now please refrain from posting in it;.

Just caught up with my Spawn, and I've gathered all the images I need for Jim's respect thread. Only thing to do now is figure out how to make it. I'm not all too good at these kinds of things.

By, "how to make it" what do you mean? Do you mean you don't know where to upload the images or how to? Or you don't know how you want to design the thread? Or something else?

Basically how I want to lay out the thread. I sorta wanna make it as an introduction to the actual character, something as a bio of things along with posting the feats to go along with it. Sorta like how I did it with Thor Girl, but I dunno, a lil' more structured than that.

Nope, I'm skippin' over Al Simmons entirely. I figure everyone already knows about him since that's the only Spawn people think of whenever Spawn is mentioned. I wanna give Jim his time in the sun.
