Nearly everything. But the two worse were the kid and the kryptonite mountain. Worse was that the first minutes when superman was just doing superman stuff were pretty good. But the last 2/3 were pure shit.

Returns was crap. Only good thing about it was the plane and hero parts. The rest was rubbish. 95% of the film was rubbish. The 5% was the plane.

It wasn't that bad. Definitely not a great movie but not that bad imo.

From a massive Superman fan it was. I didn't like Perry, however I do like the actor playing him. Perry's nephew was not needed. Lois and Clark's chemistry was poor. Luthor was above average, I didn't mind him much. Superman/Clark didn't fit what I hoped for. The kid, wtf? What idiot thought of that. Clearly never did no research. The story was weak. Almost as bad as some of the acting. The island of Kryptonite, another wtf?
And then that leaves the plane section which was good.

Yeah it definitely had many flaws but it could have been a lot worse.

Not sure what you have against the nephew though. Cyclops did a great job. In fact, I watched the film last night and no one did a bad job.

That's because I do drama/acting, and I can see flaws. Spacey did well. About the only one who did.

Hmmm.... Well what flaws did you see? I only took high school acting classes so I probably do not have an eye for flaws like someone with a continued education might. I liked the movie better overall than the first two films. There, I said it.

The first one lost a mountain of points with that terrible 'can you read my mind' poem. Just thinking about it makes me shudder.
The second one is just silly, though it has its charms. I think people explode the quality of the films because at the time, they were revolutionary. No one had made Superman convincingly 'fly' before. Reeves fit the role very well.... at the time.
Now, they kind of suck. I am not talking about effects because that is expected. No, I mean the quality of acting is just really not that good. The plot also was a little wonky.

Not a big fan of the older movies either.

You are wrong there. The first Superman was by far the best. Christopher Reeves was a better actor than anyone that were in Returns.
