Agreed. BTW, for those of you who don't like the new Karate Kid movie, you sadden me. It had some awesome fights Yes, it was actually a fairly well-made movie. The only problem is that it had already been made, and it was better the first time.

I don't think it was better really. Both are good movies that I don't mind watching.

Lots of great movies mentioned here, especially "Ong Bak" and "The Protector" with Tony Jaa.
Has anyone seen "Iron Monkey" with Donnie Yen? It's definitely worth checking out!

I have seen a lot of kung fu movies...but if I have to do one choice...it will be this movie (sword movie... a specific kind of movies). The story is shrinked...poor... But the visual aspect is perfect (for me )

I really wanted to like House of Flying Daggers, since I dug Hero, but, I dunno. The fantastical wuxia in that movie (with copious amounts of rather, uh, not great CGI) didn't click well with me, and the story was pretty meh, personally. The last fight was great, though, and it was a damn beautiful looking movie.
Since watching more Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan movies, I feel like I prefer my martial arts nonsense to be full of bone-breaking impacts and crazy stunts and less high-flying wirework and crazy swordfights.
