It certainly wasn't his fault. He just didn't fit the type of role.
Now if Nolan had done G.I. Joe....thats something I could get behind.

Yeah, there's only so much I can take of "so bad it's hilarious" until I get to the point where it becomes "so bad I can't watch another second" list.

I personally think a good G.I Joe movie should take inspiration from the Devil Due comics. As do I. I think story/writing-wise it's easily the best, and it does a good job of balancing realism with awesomeness. Personally DDP's G.I. Joe is the definitive G.I. Joe. Nolan would be perfect to portray a realistically grounded G.I. Joe film based on the DDP run. Sorry for going off-topic .

I assume you mean aspects, and I concur. You can't go cheesy and G.I. Joe is pretty cheesy in it's original form lol

Which explains why damian was in DC most critically acclaimed and highest selling comic of 2010. Sales and popularity are meaningless on whether a character sucks or not. Justin Bieber is popular, he sucks too. Feel free to hate it's a fictional character after all but do after being more educated on the character. Please, that's the "you don't like it because you don't understand, wa! wa!" defense. You haven't proven your point at all. If all you got is popularity and some writers liking him to prove he's a good character. Well, keep paddling cause you aren't out of the lake. You left out the critical acclaim part, batman and robin earned an average 9 out 10 in its reviews on almost every website and how do i prove he's a good character?you're the one who has to prove he's bad

This is the last thing I will say here on the matter to stop further thread derailment. And frankly I'm bored of this argument... You left out the critical acclaim part, batman and robin earned an average 9 out 10 in its reviews on almost every website Justin Bieber topped the charts, and when Pink Floyd came out, it wasn't even in the top 10. The Archies with their song "sugar sugar" was. Popular acclaim is meaningless. and how do i prove he's a good character?you're the one who has to prove he's bad Not really since you're the only one in this thread arguing he is a good one...

You're grasping at straws with beiber,he's irrelevant to this discussion. point flaws in batman and robin then we'll discuss this. no one argued otherwise either

Whomever they took, he probably wouldn't have anything in terms of personality in common with the comic version, so it's all the same to me.
