I think Gman gave it a 4.5. He wouldn't know a bad comic book if it bit his nuts off. I'm not sure if this is because he's never read a good comic book or just isn't intelligent enough to tell the difference. CV staff has seriously failing standards when it comes to reviews.Babs gave the recent issue of Batman and Robin a 4 simply cause it had Judd Winick and Jason Todd in it .Even though the most vocal Jason supporters have agreed that it was a shitty comic only worthy of 1.

I feel like Jason Todd could be a great character but they've ruined him through bad storyline after bad storyline and have ignored all his characterization as Robin, which defeats the purpose of bringing him back in the first place.
I liked him in Flashpoint, though.

I think SBP's resurrection of Todd was the best possible thing that could've happened to a character who was once regarded by Batman himself as a poor man's Dick Grayson as Robin. He's a total badass now with some damn good high-end showings.

High end showings be damned, he's not an interesting character.
Twisted reflection of a hero and former hero gone bad are not new concepts.
Yes, Jason was kinda a poor man Grayson but he was also written as Robin in a time where being Robin didn't mean being butt buddies with Batman or getting kidnapped all the time.
Jason had a memorable moment with the Titans when he teamed up with Wonder Girl, Speedy and Aqualad and noticed that Wonder Girl kept asking him what they should do. He eventually realized what she was doing and told her that she needed to lead the team, that he wasn't 22 year old Dick Grayson. He was just a kid. Another memorable moment came at the end of Death in the Family where Jason sacrificed his life to attempt to save a woman that had betrayed him. He showed true heroic potential. Later, Green Arrow would see Jason in heaven, swinging happily on his zip line.
This is the Jason that I wanted to see returned. Okay, that's not true. That happy Jason in heaven? That's what I wanted. But if he's going to come back, I wanted that observant, heroic Jason that had a chip on his shoulder but he was trying so hard to live up to what Batman wanted him to be, to get out of Grayson's shadow and be his own man.
But who came back? A total psychopath with zero likability that beats up martial artists to worf factor establish himself as a threat. That's not interesting. That's not unique. That's contrived and what's worse, that's not Jason.

Countdown,Lost days,Outsiders, and his arcs in Nightwing and Batman & Robin are amongst the worst stories EVAR. Under the Hood was decent though.

I didn't find his B&R arc to be nearly that bad, honestly. Mediocre in comparison to the rest of the book, yes, one of the worst ever, no.

Oh, I thought you meant Morrison's Red Hood in B&R. I casually dropped the book once Grant left, lol.
Did Dick job to Jason again?

I can post the links to reviews if you'd like? ofcourse they won't be from the CV staff cause Babs has taken upon herself to be the ultimate Winick/Jason fangirl.

I never check CV reviews, anyway. Mostly IGN/CBR.

I didn't even like Under the Hood. It undermined Jason's death scene and it retconned Hush so that Hush no longer makes sense. Jason comes back from the dead and the first thing he does is team up with the Joker? Hush hires Clayface to impersonate Jason even though he's hired Jason already?
Yuck. The Under the Hood movie was okay, though.

Zoom, is it alright if I do an Outsider #2 review if your FP week 9 recap doesn't come out within the next couple of days?

They didn't fight. Outsider and BA were just confronting one another in negotiating territory and trade rights, when........ Well, I'll let you read it. But BA was stated to have his hand blown off by Cyborg, so I highly doubt he's as powerful as he was in continuity.

I've read all of week 9 (we're on week 11 today, I think) and wrote a review on it but I just haven't bothered posting it, yet because Citizen Cold 2 was such a letdown. I'm going to make up my own ending to all but like 3 of the tie ins, review my made up stories and then call it a day when it comes to Flashpoint.
