Sherlock Laforet The inspiration is simply that I love the show And to answer your other question, I am 20 years old. I see no reason to adhere perfectly to society's definition of 'growing up'. I can learn to be a responsible, educated, self-sufficient, mature individual without dropping the simple childish pleasures that I still enjoy. I don't see any problem with eating Lucky Charms and watching cartoons while I balance my checkbook.

No, I haven't been keeping up with it. I don't actually read new comics a whole lot to begin with (I don't know how you guys do it. They're just so flarking expensive), and most of the titles I do try to keep up with are Marvel.
TBH, I don't really hate the idea of New52, but I really don't think it was necessary at all. Yeah, it's good for getting new readers on board, but it's also good for pissing off all of your old readers. The DC universe was honestly just fine the way it was.
Are you 21 now?Im curious to know if your older than i am
Nope. I'm going to be 21 in August.
HMM let's see, next Feb I'll be 21 for the 3... ahh... 3rd time. God I feel old.

I still read comics watch cartoons etc etc. I've always held the view the world can go to hell if it has a problem with it. As long as I like who I see in the mirror each morning when I look anyone else's opinion is meaningless. If their opinion doesn't fit with my own their not worthy of enough of my respect to care what theirs is.

“Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence. And in childhood and adolescence they are, in moderation, healthy symptoms. Young things ought to want to grow. But to carry on into middle life or even into early manhood this concern about being adult is a mark of really arrested development. When I was ten, I read fairy tales in secret and would have been ashamed if I had been found doing so. Now that I am fifty I read them openly. When I became a man I put away childish things, including the fear of childishness and the desire to be very grown up.”

I just finished watching it like two minutes ago.
DANG. So many thoughts about it all at the same time.
I was very glad they finally had Korra airbend. Since book 1 is called "Air" I knew it had to happen at some point.
I liked how they concluded the story with Amon, but it seemed almost anticlimactic. He's been set up for the whole season as a nearly invincible villian whom we knew nothing about. But now that we learn his story, he seems so vulnerable. Tenzin could never do crap to Amon with his airbending, but now suddenly Korra is slapping him around with nothing but airbending?
Also, Naga is a boss. Jus' sayin'.
What is Asami supposed to do now? She only really joined Team Avatar because she was Mako's girlfriend. But now that he's with Korra now, she's just going to be an awkward fourth wheel on the team.
I have mixed feelings about General Iroh. Zuko was my favorite character from the original series, but it's just so weird to hear his voice with somebody else's face. But, on the other hand, he was a freakin boss. Going all Human Torch with those planes and whatnot.
Oh, and speaking of which, I WANT TO SEE ZUKO. They've confirmed he's still alive. WHY HAS HE NOT APPEARED YET?
I really hope they explain more about Amon in the next season. Particularly how advanced bloodbending allows him to take bending away... and whether or not he's alive.

I was personally very disappointed with the final battle between Korra and Amon.I thought they ended it very lamely. It wasnt anything like Aang Vs Ozai Did they confirm that Zuko was still alive?Thats so freaking awesome
