I liked it too. The best part in the whole movie though, was the Thor cameo...

Lol, I liked this movie a lot.
Also, I must say that besides the greasyness, I love Mickey Rourke's black hair with white streaks. Do want.

Thor actually had a cameo in the film outside the clip straight out of his movie with Mjolnir? Rawr must watch film relentlessly till I see said cameo!

Then there was the fact that Ivan knew that palladium is lethal when sitting inside a human body but Tony never knew it when he made the first miniature arc reactor? Or that Tony could not effectively insulate his body from the negative effects.Instead of taking that to mean Ivan knew something that Tony didn't, I chalked that up to inconsistancy and somewhat poor planning between the two movies. In the first movie there was no mention at all about paladium's lethality. But then in the second movie they're all like, "Oh fuuuuuuuu** Tony is totally dying and everything! This is a really big deal." The issue of Tony slowly dying just felt really forced, like they wanted to add a new drama element to the movie but didn't know what else to do. "Hmm. A supervillian isn't enough. We need something else to plague Tony too..... HEY! Waitaminute! How about he's slowly dying of...... ooooofff.... umm.... the thingy in his chest! Yeah! Somehow the thing in his chest is killing him! But wait, an element like that probably should have been brought up in the first movie. Hmmmmmmm... Aw, f**k it, nobody will notice." But, other than that, it was a great movie

I assumed the palladium issue was because Tony was a tech guy and not a bio guy and as such didn't think about it. But once he got the thing in him, he couldn't think of a way of powering the suit and the magnet reliably without it. Ivan looked at his dad's plans for the arc reactor and at Iron Man and put 2 and 2 together. Remember, Movie Tony Stark is not as smart as Comic Tony Stark.

Super (2010)Not a lot of movies give me more than I expected or even wanted out of a movie. Of that group, fewer still get the recognition they deserve. Unfortunately Super is one of those extremely good movies that goes unnoticed by the masses. Making just over only $324,000 domestically and with a budget of $2.5 million, this movie would be considered a flop. Shocking considering the quality of the film and the attached big name actors. Super stars Rainn Wilson as Frank, a sad excuse for a man who spends his time making kindergarten grade art and hallucinating about things he wished he had done to prevent his wife (Liv Tyler) from leaving him. She runs off with Kevin Bacon, drug dealer and Frank finds inspiration in a childrens religious television show that stars none other than Nathan Fillion. Enter Libby played by Ellen Page, who runs a comic book store and basically acts as his unknowing guide to get him started. Super has to be one of the most violent and hilarious super hero movies out there. But it is more than that. Kick-Ass is that and that is great all by itself. But Super has real feeling to it. Everyone has had one moment in their life where they wished for something to happen to make things all better, but when that fails Frank as it usually does for everyone, he decides to fight back. It also has one of my favorite title scenes ever. Libby is one of those "only lives in the moment" type characters with a sailor's mouth and a murderous streak. Throughout the movie, you see her kill and maim with Wolverine claws and fall into hysterics because of it. Yet she is so honest and innocent with it, it is literally impossible to hold it against her. Especially when she wants something. All in all the movie was a low budget movie, the small bit of CGI that it did have was obviously unimpressive. But I actually think for this movie it counts as part of its charm. I will say that the real life special effects like Frank's head cut open, looks really good. In my opionion, it is hard to be shockingly violent and absolutely adorable at the same time. Super does it with a snap. I will be sure to keep an eye out for James Gunn movies in the future. I did have one part of the movie I did not like but I do not want to spoil it. You must go buy this movie. If you liked movies like Kick-Ass, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Juno, Little Miss Sunshine, Pineapple Express or The Darjeeling Limited, you will love this movie. I give this movie a perfect 10 out of 10. In fact, this is my favorite movie I have seen at home this year. If you do not see this movie, you deserve to get a pipe wrench slapped up against your head a few times and be left bleeding in your own home, unable to move to get yourself to the ICU. By the end of this movie, you too will stand up and shout, SHUT UP CRIME!!!

That actually sounds completely awesome. I'll see what I can pick it up for. Ellen Page is rarely (never) in a bad role either.

It is not a great movie though. Besides, you liked Predator 2! Your movie opinions are worthless! I already confessed that it's a BAD movie. I just like it because I'm a Predator fanboy It was a horrible movie, how in hell could danny glover defeat a predator ?

I recently watched Predator 2.... It was so goddamned cliche and the cast hamming up their lines I spent most of the time rolling my eyes.
