I love how Catman puts a beating on him and he's hardly impacted by it, then ends it when he wants to. I'm afraid for the next issue, though. It's the final one and they've built up for A LOT to happen.

True,i hope it's oversized.Though i did'nt like how penguin was able to resist Bane's torture attempts.

I flipped through it at the shop and can't say I'm excited to check it out. 35 created the groundwork for what could be a great story, but to finish it in just one more issue is rushing matters, and it definitely looked that way.

Bane puts Catman to his place and gives Penguin a spanking. When doesn't Penguin get a spanking? LOL..... I swear, Azzarello sincerely hates the character. He made him look like a chump in the Joker graphic novel, and is Thomas Wayne's personal bitch in Flashpoint.

Batman nearly crippled him in Finch's TDK series, too.

almost every Batman writer has hated Penguin since the 80's

Perhaps you should propose in the proving grounds something like "Why Penguin is a legitimate threat and not a joke."

Who was that intended for? Because I don't know if anyone would be willing to stand up for a rogue punchline like Cobblepot.

Crom. He's the only one that tends to support Penguin, so perhaps he should make a case for it.

Crom. He's the only one that tends to support Penguin, so perhaps he should make a case for it. eh I've done it plenty of times before in plenty of threads. I see no real point in doing it again.
