Actually now that you mention it, I only assumed we were discussing "running" speed because SM brought up the speed steel from BA by Jay (which I knew to be out of a foot race). I flight the Marvels and BA would all be 26 with Superman 27 (I'd guess). Running 22 (where they are ) is about right IMHO.
on a side note, maybe Zoom can answer this one. Wasn't Bart supposed to have reached a speed once that was greater than his predecessors. I vaguely recall someone arguing on a forum some where ( I think it was the Flash Forum on DC boards) that Bart was or would be the fastest

I remember something like that about Bart as well.

Wonder Woman has the speed of Hermes in both flight and in reaction and movement speed. How fast is that? It is never stated but implied to be really damn fast. Wonder Woman has some insane speed feats. That is very true. I am just having trouble remembering an impressive one. I think I have gotten lazy in my old age. Hermes, or Mercury escaped a mini black hole, so he can move superluminal speeds. Therefore would make me believe she can do the same. I do not remember that issue? Where did this happen? If it happened then yes, Diana can do it too. She was literally gifted with his speed.

I think most of Diana's best speed feats relate to her combat speed and reaction time, but she does have some good travel speed feats as well, like the one you mentioned the Jesse Quick crossover or when she ran across countries in a few panels in JLA #33.

Oh nice one. I have not read more than a few JLA issues yet. It is on my to-do list. Those are probably where most of her feats can be found anyway since her title is more story driven.

I hope you're not thinking about using a different character's speed feats for Diana just because she is supposed to have the same power, if she hasn't shown them at least equally herself.

She is not "supposed" to have anything. They say it at the beginning of every one of her issues. Strength of Hercules, speed of Hermes and so on and so fourth.

Has she displayed speed equal to or greater than that of Hermes?

Has she displayed speed equal to or greater than that of Hermes? Not greater to my knowledge. But that is likely because of lack of Hermes feats, not the other way around. She has kept up with other speedsters though and Silver did point out an impressive feat for running. But like he said, most of her speed feats are in combat, reaction speed.

Wonder Woman also flew to the moon and then back later alongside other League members in JLA: The Titans. How long exactly it took them is unclear, but on return, she and the others flew fast enough that they caught meteorites/machinery falling to earth. Those "meteorites" fell to earth in only a few panels as well.

Wally still has the best feats of all the Flashes.

The scan you after confirms verbatim what Phantom said, that BA was peaking at mach 500. As I said, questionable. He starts faltering at mach 500, but it isn't until near light speed that Jay takes his velocity. There's no way Jay was traveling at ~C and Adam at Mach 500 and for them to still be side by side with each other. Thanks for the scans. Saved me the trouble of going through my files. Based on this we have 2 choices. Either Put BA (and likely Capt Marvel, Superman and Wonder Woman) in at Rank 17 (mach 500) or Put them in at rank 20 (mach 67500) as BA is keeping pace with Jay Garrick until much closer to light speed. Its interupretation of the feat. I am inclined to go with the higher rank for now as it seems reasonable that BA would need to keep pace with Jay for longer.

Based on this we have 2 choices. As I've said already. I'm inclined to agree, though, to be honest, mach 500 as running speed does kinda make a bit more sense to me. This given the earlier scans of him and Jay fighting and all.

Hermes/Mercury was running with Flash, and Flash couldn't catch him, although at the time Wally could only go Mach 1 I think. But Hermes/Mercury didn't look like he was really trying. He got distracted and was eaten. In the next panel he was inside a black hole, the next panel after that he escaped it.

I was really hoping that I was not missing a ton by not getting the rest of the War of the Gods arc but it seems like I did. I will have to change that. I only had the WW issues for that arc.

Another thought, does inertia effect Wonder Woman?
