AHH guy's if I'm not mistaken. Aren't these scans from the era when wally was depowered (the five or so years following COIE) and was just a sonic level speedster, who had to consume massive amounts of food fro the calories he burned running. So really all these scans are quite out of context. Looking at them we could be led to believe that Hermes is faster than a speed force user when the scans don't show that at all (no mention of the speed force back then). IIRC back then Wally's limit was mach 5ish, and after for example running a donor organ across country that couldn't be flown he was totally spent and had to get a flight home (not to mention eat for a week) Yeah, we know. I stated it was in War of the Gods in '91. And I also stated that he wasn't really that fast, Wally. However I also believe, Mercury was just toying with him. He also escaped a black hole. And we all know to escape a black hole, you need to go beyond the speed of light.

Superman at rank 27 for flight ? Have we got a feat to support this ? To be honest creator I haven't read a Superman story since the late 80's, so the feats I'm thinking of my no longer be canon. What I'm considering is Clark's cross universe/galaxy flights. The best of which is when he flies to the "edge" of the universe after IIRC Supergirl's soul and is stopped by the Spectre before he meets the presence or some such (like I said it's been a while) That particular feat is no longer applicable. But current Superman has done a similar, yet less impressive feat.

While "we know" that you have to go FTL to escape a black hole, I believe that Wally also managed to "escape" the black hole inside Chunk in one of Chunk's earliest appearances, which would have been at the same lower speed level.

I wasn't fully clear in that post. I meant it validates phantom on either of his figures. I'd say a fare measure is somewhere between. The issue clearly showed BA could get to "near" light speed, but it clearly took everything he had in the tank. Well light speed is quite a few ranks higher than rank 20 so this was a halfway house meant to be more representative of their running speeds.

I'll hold him at his current rank for now unless we can see a feat that puts him way over the 20x FTL speed he has displayed.

When Emma had control of Iceman's body, she travel in water form down a river at a much faster speed than that of his slides. I don't remember the distance though.

Might the river have been doing all the work ? I cannot remember what the distance was but the feat stated very specifically that it was fast. Too fast for a New York river to have done any noticeable work. Not that it matters though because that is just Iceman's potential. He still has a way to go with his powers.

True, but it could be a theoretical max.

Well if teleportation is going to remain on the list then it is not even his theoretical max. Iceman shown to be able to move his mind through space instantaneously and create a body where his mind ends up. He has even created two bodies in different locations, vast distances apart and operated them both without trouble. As far as speed is concerned, his power allows it to literally not be a factor.... as far as potential goes.

Iceman's normal running speed is that of a normal human and his ice slide speed can keep up with some flyers going at normal speeds so I would say a few hundred miles per hour at the very max. Traveling through the water is extremely fast though. While letting Prosh control his body, he was able to travel through the water system from his house in Boston to Atlanta in just a few moments. I looked up the Emma Frost feat too and it was in the Hudson River and she used his body to cover 3 miles in 5 seconds.

But both of those water traveling feats were other people using Bobby's body, not him. Though now that he has a much better grasp on his powers, I think he could do these feats.
