I was never a fan of symbiotes when I read Spidey. I still like Eddie Brock as Venom, but that's mostly due to his character.

I also never really cared for the symbiote idea. I liked it even less when they started saying the symbiotes eventually give the host cancer.

I like the concept about the new Venom (I am not referring strictly to character designs, either). We'll have to wait and see if it works, or not, but it's something I want to read.

Toxin>All other symbiotes

Toxin>All other symbiotes I think Toxin had potential, but to re-introduce him anytime soon seems pointless. Brock is currently the "anti-hero" symbiote as Anti-Venom, and it appears this latest Venom might also play the anti-hero card for sometime. Maybe one day he'll return, but I guess the sales for his short run weren't good enough and no one has taken an interest in the character. In the meantime, at least his limited feats are prett awesome. That said, Classic Venom is still the coolest symbiote...ever ;D

He could be used in the many other books they have going at marvel. Ew.

I agree he doesn't need to be in a Spider-Man book. After all, his last run dealt with other characters and barely included Spider-Man. I just think it would be tough to give him an interesting enough scenario currently, because Anti-Venom is pretty much doing the same thing.

I agree that it would be hard, but a team-up could be possible. also, I thought it would be hard to make me like spider-man comics period, but Ultimate Spider-man did it. With the right creative team, they don't have to be that great of a writer either, Anything is possible.

I read the first issue and only part of the second. I REALLY wanted to like it, but issue 2 was a bore and honestly, I'm not interested in the concept they were going with.
