To start the discussion. Which incarnation of the turtles did you prefer? Mine is without a doubt the 2003 show, right before they raped and murdered it with the fast forward arc.

Probably the 2003 show. Although that's only because I haven't found the comics where they strait up murder some bitches.

There was a second series handled by Archie Comics whom was based on the 1987 show. Incidentally, in the Mirage comics, Shredder died in the first arc. Leonardo stuck him like a pig.

They are very hard to find, yes. My two favorite stores have barely held only a few issues, mid arcs.

This is why I like online comics to an extent. While I prefer to hold a comic with my hands when I read it, a file is just plain easier to find.

That part I do agree with about online comics, for all my disfavor of them. That said the best Shredder is without doubt the 2003 Shredder. Ch'rell was 100% badass. The way he walked all over the turtles at the end of the Exodus arc was just too cool.

So is the 5th Turtle, the girl one, Canon or just something made up for the Power Rangers crossover they had.

So is the 5th Turtle, the girl one, Canon or just something made up for the Power Rangers crossover they had. Actually, that's Venus of Milo and she was created for the live-action TV show "TMNT: The Next mutation" an abysmal show that ran for about a season in a half during the period where Power Rangers in Space was running. They had a crossover because the show, being terrible, was failing. They wanted to boost ratings. And no, she is not canon. Laird and Eastman, the creators of the turtles have flat out said at numerous cons that she is not canon and that as far as they are concerned she doesn't exist in any canon.

Leonardo is the best turtle. Donatello just gets to hang around him cause he can fix the coffee machine.

IIRC, didn't mister Donatello technically save the group by knocking the grenade out of Shredder's hands in the first issue? It's been some time since I've read it.

just can't admit that Leo is the ruling turtle and all the others are lucky to get to hang out with him ;D I seem to remember Mike was the one that stopped the grenade.

I saddly do not own the comic and don't have the means at the moment to properly investigate.
Donny is cool thought. Just not as cool as Leo.

I don't own it, either. I'd imagine it's quite the collectors item at this point. I've only read a re-print.
