Looks like there might be a comic book movie worse than Green Lantern after all.

Vaughn it seems watched the X-men animated series and fell in love with the absolutely gaudy character designs.
When will Hollywood learn, you can put your superheroes in stylized normal clothing and achieve an effective costume.

Nolan has generally done a good job with his costuming for his characters. Crane was great, suit with a burlap sack is awesome. Joker was great, custom purple suit with explosive personality. Two-Face was also good because it was the clothes he was wearing when he was put in the hospital which was quite genius.
I worry most about Catwoman because it is a difficult thing to get right. I would hope they stick to something that you could buy that is slightly altered.

I just wanna point out that average everyday cosplayers can make a better Emma Frost than whoever did this costume design.

I have an uneasy feeling about this. Seems more like a Smallville-type television series than a movie.

Nice article on Bane and Catwoman being cast, by the way. @power- You know, as awesome as Sir Ian is, I was never a big fan of him as Magneto. He is just too old and too far from the peak physical condition Magneto is usually displayed with. I agree, but it still seems like it would be logical to pick actors for this movie who could pass as younger versions of McKellen and Stewart. I guess McAvoy kinda looks like Patrick Stewart, but I don't see any resemblance whatsoever between Fassbender and McKellen.

@power- I disagree with you here actually. I think requiring actors to look like younger/older versions of each other is usually a little too much to ask (unless it is a perfect cast looks and character wise), and is an unnecessary form of continuity. Sure, it would be a nice plus, but its not like Fox Studios is concerned with any sort of continuity to begin with, either.
