The first game was so fun, but the overall production quality was lacking severely. The opposite happened with the second. The presentation was fantastic and there were far less audio/video glitches, however, they COMPLETELY downsized the RPG elements and it was so easy to fully upgrade someone:(

I liked the first game.
I thought the second game was a steaming piece of crap.

Sadly, I only played the first MUA game, but I loved it. I have played through it now probably four or five times. Excellent game. SpiderMan, Daredevil, Cap, Cage, Thing, Iron Man, etc. were all some of my favorite characters to play as. It had an excellent variety and displayed character powers and abilities fairly well. The second game, I have been meaning to get, but, honestly, it has been a while since I played a video game. The last game I remember playing was a replay of KOTOR II a couple months ago. You didn't miss much with MUA2. The only really new thing is the fusion attacks, everything else got downgraded. Less characters, only one costume per character, and you have to unlock Thor which is bull crap if you ask me. Thor was one of, if not the most powerful character in the game. His swing essentially maxed out destroyed bosses and one shotted virtually everything. That and the runes weren't that tricky to grab, IMO.

The best had the first storyline, seriously. I wish that we are going to have a game with similar storyline( not being taken by a comic event ) but with the graphics of the second. =]

Next game needs to bring back the old gameplay and make Thanos the damn villain. I may not be a fan of his, but he does make for a good epic villain.

I highly agree with you Decoy. Thanos and Doom will always be one of the most epic villains when it comes to team games.

The second was good in terms of graphics and powers. Good was also the ability to fuse powers and skills. But in terms of storyline, it sucked IMO. =]

Indeed. It also had a shitty set up, where you couldn't replay through with all your characters. :/

I'm not sure if i had this problem.... I think he's talking about the first run throughs of Anti and Pro having characters out of reach till you go I think your third playthrough(If it doesn't happen by the second one), outside that I am unsure of how he wouldn't be able to play with all the roster. Unless lower difficulties kept everything out of reach, I sorta just steamrolled through the difficulties.

You have to do a third playthough? WTF?!? If I remember right(And I might not) you have to at least play both anti and pro registration and post that any saves should include the content for both sides. It might be different on the lower difficulties, since I just went straight for hardmodes.

I disagree with all of you due to how terrible MUA1 was on the PS3 and a bunch of useless abilities that had some that didn't even work. But to be fair, I liked MUA's inclusion of some actual cosmic aspect of Marvel that MUA2 completely denied. It had it's pros, but it had its glorious cons.

I'm gonna contibute to this old thread. Because I love this game. Well, I love the first game mostly, the second really wasnt as good, but oh well.
I used to always play it with a friend so we'd pick two character each and I'd always have Cap and Reed as my two. She'd always have Wolvie and either Thor or Deadpool.
We used to have like, marathons, and we'd just beat the game on every difficulty level because even hard wasnt that hard. :S
