I had the most experience with him on DC boards (though I haven't seen him there for a couple years). When I first encountered him, I had been in a back and forth with some troll for pages. Viper comes along and puts the troll in their place 9and completely shuts them up ) in like two posts (I think I was up to 40) He is THE MAN, good to see him a little more active recently both here and on CV |

Haha, will do.None that I could post a link to off the top of my head. If memory serves, he only posted in a few battle threads actually, but he was irritating elsewhere also. Basically, like I said, Mainline was similar to Switchdoctor but not exactly. He had that "you're too dense to get this" attitude, but he was less forward with it. He would give verbosely drawn out explanations that insult another users intelligence more than once in more inconspicuous terms. I would have to check, but on my "Planet Moving Feats" thread on the Vine, Mainline had a conversation with another user. For the most part, I just ignored their discussion altogether simply because I wanted him to leave my thread as soon as possible, but you could check that out. It might give you an idea. |

I think it was Ion, and his argument was that Flash would time travel to kill Kyle in the past (even though a scan was posted of Ion's conversation with Spectre in which he mentions that the time stream can be altered without it affecting him). I would have to reread the thread, but from what I do remember thinking back on it, I never did present very good arguments (although, truth be told, I wasn't all that great a debater back then), but my and XMan's points were no less wrong, really, just not very well worded. IIRC, Hellos basically reiterated the points XMan and I made to Mainline (more coherently, I think) after we left the thread, and it still never got through to him. |
