On CV my best would have been against at Phantom. He always makes me articulate my case to the full.
My absolute best would have been on DC boards (way back) against Sabatinni with another against 1sman a close second.
The one against Sabatinni was on JSA boards on a Wildcat vs someone thread. It went on for quite a few pages until some troll made sab loose his cool (and cut loose a few superlatives) which got his comments (and all those linked, including mine) deleted. The troll had a crack at sab on two other threads and ended up getting him banned (more's the pitty he was one of the few worth having a debate with)

Silver Samurai vs. Katana (Me and Gerald) was pretty good as well On the ledger, Halo vs. Spider-Woman (Erik and I) I'd be interested to see you SS vs Katana debate if you could link it. I've been looking to pick up some knowledge on both of those characters. |

Admiral Rodgers: Static usually proved me wrong. For the most part, all of my debates with Static took place while I was a newbie debater on the Vine. So I had yet to even understand concepts like combat speed vs travel speed or resistance to energy vs resistance to blunt force. Honestly, one of the reasons I respect Static as a debater is because he took the time to correct me on those matters, and in doing so, I have a good understanding of his method of discussion and argument structure (which are top notch, in his case). Been a while since I debated Static though. I need to pay him back for all the times he kicked my tail in debate.  |

@ Silver , Coolio , is he on here ? coz i'm relatively new here and besides people like Morph ,Erik ,K4tz and spidey and you lots of people have different usernames from CV and its hard to tell if your debating someone you know or not |

One v One the best debate I remember having was Fighter vs Bayonetta.
The debate where I did my best was me vs a bunch of people in Doc Ock vs Green Goblin.

On a debate about the JLA we had a short one about the spectre and different power levels between GA and SA. It was in that one that you explained to me posters usually take the peak feats as ability so the peak feats I conceded for Spec in GA when powered up sort of disproved my point. Of course in the "3batmen vs 300 Spartans" it wasn't until right at the end when I went to the Midnighter CV page and realized just how much I didn't know about him (having thought through a few posts here and there he was only slightly enhanced), that I discovered my argument was based on a completely false premise. I've always enjoyed every time we've "crossed swords". I would have to say your one of the only two viners (the other being creator) who could correct me on Spectre, Dr Fate, or Phantom Stranger etc and have me question the veracity of my facts (at least for you two I'd check that I've remembered correctly, anyone else I'd believe straight away to be full of the proverbial) |
