Technicality xP Actually, they might try and fit that transformation in if they were indeed going for the heroic transformation angle. Or the artist/writer didn't do any homework. Either or.

When Kaine replaces Pete, the Kravinoffs would have noticed the guy they were fighting just gained 15 inches in 5 minutes.
