I think I saw a stripper in the same outfit when I frequented gentlemen clubs.

"Fox News is calling the costume unpatriotic, citing the lack of stars and stripes (staples of the classic design and Linda Carter's outfit)." ~ Poster at CBR.
"The new and allegedly improved Wonder Woman (a.k.a Diana Prince) has been given a head-to-toe makeover by artist Jim Lee, replacing her signature American flag decorated briefs with skintight … pants and purging the super hero of all her trappings of Americana." ~ Fox News
First of all Fox, Diana is not, nor has she ever been a U.S. citizen. At least not since her revamp in February 19-fucking-87. She is an Amazonian and if she were to be tied to ANY real life country, it would be Greece.
Furthermore, Wonder Woman has worn several variations on the theme, some of which did not even have the traditional colors. The Wonder Woman uniform is in honor of ONE woman warrior who just happened to be American who died saving the Amazons.
The Amazons found her American badge and made the Wonder Woman armor as a tribute to her because they thought that was her symbol. If Diana (the pilot, not the super hero) had been wearing a badge from Nazi Germany, they would have made the Wonder Woman armor to reflect that symbol because it would have been one they respected. Unpatriotic? Learn about the fucking character.
Now does the television suit look bad? Still not liking those pants up near the top. Does the new comic suit look bad? No. I actually kind of like it.

She doesn't look striking or strong enough to be Wonder Woman.

She doesn't look striking or strong enough to be Wonder Woman. Seeing as how Diana is supposed to be the most beautiful female human on the planet AND be a warrior woman, I think a little slack must be given to most of the mere mortals that would want to play her.

True, but the muscle tone on Adrianne's arms is almost non-exsistent. She better work on that before the show!!!
