Thanks to Screenrant and their video on the Thor panel at C2E2, we can now hear Chris Hemsworth, the God of Thunder himself let loose a "FOR ASGARD!" It is at the 10:30 mark, right at the end of the video. 'Thor' is set to be released by Marvel Studios May 6, 2011. |

I appreciate how he came out and admitted (although sheepishly. He was at a comic convention after all) that he does not read comics nor did he growing up. He just read source material and collaborated with key comic people. I am not sure this movie could be done well by someone who is a hardcore fan of the comics anyway.
I hate it when an actor tries to bullshit his way through comic knowledge. It gets embarrassing.

Lol. Well he probably would not have done it even if someone gave Aquaman a fair description. No doubt about that. I just expect more out of a comic book convention. I must now renounce my status as a comic book nerd, even though I don't really have it to begin with. That said, I kinda think Hemsworth would make a decent Aquaman. Be the funniest thing in the world if that were to happen some time in the future. |

Sounds good to me and I'm sure it will be even better on screen.
Viking thor is no the intent crom. And before you say it should be you realize you would be telling about 40 years of thor comic history they are wrong.
