I understand what you are saying, but still does not change the fact that they have some similarities that i dislike. As i said, i have not played the 3rd game, but i have played the other 2 in psp and i have played the burst limit( which really sucked btw ) as well. I never really enjoyed these games because my ability to move in the environment is pretty limited and i can not destroy anything unless i use an ultimate move. The BT series, gave me the chance to fly around like in the show and destroy my environment while fighting, just like what happens in every fight of the show. As far are cinematics are concerned, i concede that they might not be tht good and that the explosions might be the same, so the Budokai 3 has actually give more spectacular explosions, but that does not mean it varies more. As i have said before, i have noticed that most of the moves, the opponents stop the blast so the player has to do something to make it more powerful. Also, in the BT3, you can enjoy cinematics even when you are doing special moves. Most of the time, the special moves are based on what it was shown in the show which make it really cool for the game. Also maybe some characters have the same specials( explosive way, volley ball blasts etc... ) but this usually happens when the characters does not have many showings to show more moves. But that does not mean there is no variety in their moves, right?
I disagree with you. I never had a problem fight my opponent. Every of my fights were actual fights and i really enjoy them. As far as combos are concerned, maybe they are similar, but they were so amazingly done, that i don't mind the fact that most people have the same, i actually like it. Btw, i think the combo system is more impressive in the BT3.
But i think we can agree to disagree then. After all, it's about personal opinion.
I have not played Infinite World and i don't think i will ever do for reasons you already know...lol
Actually raging blast is my fave so far. It has the exact same freedom in movement like in the BT series, with similar exciting combos but even better graphics, butter ultimates and you also have the chance to stuck your opponents on rocks or buildings or stuff like that, in order to incapacitate him and start beating him....
