It's canon but it was specifically created for the people who dislike batman's current direction as a fairly friendly person,no other writer is following the direction of this book(excluding johns ofcourse but he does'nt count),all in all the events of 52 and Return of bruce wayne changed his attitude,metron actually told him to become friendlier.

I was under the impression that this book was supposed to depict a darker Bruce to contrast Morrison's happy Batman, so no, I don't mine him breaking a few bones to find some new leads.

But the question posed was "Is this Batman?" I have to say no, this is not the real Batman. This version betrays specific things about Batman that are integral to his character. |
