Hmmm...so right now the Ultimates roster is Cap, Iron-Man, Thor. Black Widow & Giant-Man...wonder where they're going with that? Odd that the team they're currently operating against have all appeared in films too. (Blade, Punisher, Nick Fury & War Machine) It seems like a strange time to be killing Ult Spider-Man then... |

CBR is calling it "the best comic movie yet". I thought Comicbookreview's reviewer Jonah just said "Best film Marvel's put out yet" and emphasized the whole universe building scheme as being a big part of that as well since Batman and Iron Man have just been super hero films, Thor will actually expand / build on the universe. Apparently in 3d Asgard will be awsome and there will be a kick !@# teaser at the end of the credits. Score. showed my g/f the Thor trailer. "He's pretty"..... Did you mention not all of us can be Norse Gods with magic hammers that control of the storms, that by a byproduct make us super buff? =P |

Well I went and watched the film this afternoon with my girlfriend (who is not a comic reader). The film was accessible to her but a little bit predictable (her words).
I found the film to be enjoyable and accomplished what I hoped this film could and would achieve. There are things I would have done differently particularly in the look of a couple of characters and perhaps in the powers a few characters displayed but all in all I was happy with the finished product.
I fervently hope this film does well at the box office.
