Writers: Abnett & Lanning Marvel's cosmic gurus, Abnett & Lanning team up for a new series starring many of the former Marvel Knights. The line-up includes Moon Knight, Falcon, Black Widow, Elektra, Silver Sable, Ghost Rider, Paladin & Misty Knight. The first five issues involve Misty hiring each hero out for particular missions, each suited to their strengths and abilities. We also learn early on that Misty is under the control of a very familiar villain. Fury Thoughts: The Good: This series has some interesting team ups and some very nice art for the first three issues. The story line is pretty easy to follow and flows nicely. We get to see quite a few characters that we haven't seen a lot of in recent years and its nice to see them featured here. Some of them have past history and some don't and this is played off pretty well by the writers. The Bad: I didn't like the artist changing hands three issues into the series. It's a minor complaint but still should be noted. I also didn't care for the villain pulling Misty's strings to be revealed so early on (the very first issue). Again, that's a minor complaint but still a little more intrigue would help. One of the biggest things that bothered me is the fact that Moon Knight here is still billed as having personality disorders. This takes place after Shadowland and I was pretty sure the issues were resolved then. I could be wrong though. Lastly, Elektra's fight with an Atlantean mob bob boss takes place OFF PANEL. That's right we get to see NONE of it. Overall: This series focuses on Misty Knight and to be honest she's not interesting enough to garner such attention. The cast is good but none of them really receive a great deal of face time except Misty and Paladin. Neither of them are strong enough characters to carry their own series. 4.5/10 Unless you really love Misty Knight I'd spend your money on something else. I feel like this has much better potential than what we saw here.

I think this series has been alright so far. I feel once DnA shift the story to a more interesting focus and villain, it will be great. I also think the rotating team has been a disservice to the story, making it a bit choppy.
Let's see where it goes with the next arc. I personally feel DnA have been off their game a bit recently. Here's hoping their upcoming work is a return to form for them.

I'd like for anyone with their own title to be removed and them focus on a solid team dynamic.

Yeah, I mean, Ghost Rider showed up for part of an issue, Silver Sable, Punisher, Falcon, etc. The only main stays (excluding Misty) were Paladin and Moon Knight.
Who would you like to see? I wouldn't mind seeing Paladin, Moon Knight, Punisher, Iron Fist, Elektra, Black Widow, or something to that extent.

I love most of the characters they used just didn't get enough of them.
Paladin, Silver Sable, Falcon, Black Widow, Iron Fist & Elektra would be pretty sweet w/Misty guiding them.

The Bad: 1) One of the biggest things that bothered me is the fact that Moon Knight here is still billed as having personality disorders. That's right we get to see NONE of it.
Overall: 3) This series focuses on Misty Knight and to be honest she's not interesting enough to garner such attention.1) I still can't believe how seemingly every other writer has just disregarded the fact that the last page in Moon Knight's Shadowland mini showed him saying he is not Marc Spector again. Wtf guys? Seriously? Hard to read? 2) Yeah, that sucked. Plus, we only saw her for about 1 page. 3) Couldn't agree more. Could easily do without Misty, or have her just play a smaller role as control. She's way too damn boring to be hanging around with Danny Rand, so hopefully it stays that way.

Plus, this title has the potential to be way too good to be focusing on the Puppet Master. Real villain, please.

ckalIt's like they don't even care. They even referenced Shadowland several times to piss me off that much more.

Hopefully, there's a much better villain Puppet Master is working for.

I hope DnA don't get spread too thin. They are currently on Soldier Zero, New Mutants (starting on #25), Heroes For Hire, Annihilators + Rocket Raccoon and Groot, Transformers: Heart of Darkness. And none of these are similar or are remotely connected.

Yeah, I was a little surprised they're even doing a street level book.

I'm willing to give them a chance at anything, but even their cosmic work recently has been off IMO. Iron Man/Thor end up being average, Annihilators has been sub par so far, and we have yet to see with Soldier Zero. I may be being harsh on them right now, but its only because I know how great they are. For one, The Thanos Imperative was amazing stuff, and I love their Nova series, and Guardians of the Galaxy (part way through).

The preview for the next issue says a Captain America villain is kicking Paladin's teeth in. No idea who it may be.
for me personally, I'd like to see someone like Kingpin with some amped up back up. I'm sure he can hire some capable thugs with his cash flow.
