Figures. It was written by Ann Nocenti. It likely involves Blackheart's debut appearance.

I like Daredevil as a hero, but lost respect for Murdock as a person after he cheated on Karen Page with Mary without thinking twice about it. This was during the whole Typhoid Mary/Inferno saga I was re-reading yesterday.

I lost all respect for Karen Page when she sold him out for her fix. So, sorry if I don't weep for the witch.

It doesn't matter to me what the circumstances were beforehand. If you're truly one of the most genuine characters in the MU, which he's often regarded as, falling for a woman within two minutes strictly because she caters to the blind and cheating on your girlfriend/wife in the process isn't acceptable. While coming close to ruining his career just for heroin is about as vile as you can get, it doesn't warrant betrayal. Especially when it doesn't just break the heart of your lover, but those who idolize you as well (i.e. Butch).
On a positive note, seeing Daredevil wake out of a coma and saving hundreds of civilians in Inferno was one of my all-time favorite moments from a Marvel storyline. Mainly because he could've cared less about whether he would live or die in the process. He was just being the man he committed to being.

Still don't give a damn. Karen didn't deserve any better.

DD #2 was interesting.
I loved DD's reaction to Cap saying he was under arrest: Objection. And just jumps off the roof. I laughed pretty good at that. I think Waid has a good sense of humor with Matt so far.

I don't believe he fell for Mary because she's just that awesome. She made him fall in love with her.

Daredevil himself revealed to Mary that he lived with Karen and loved her. It wasn't like Mary put him in a hypnotic trance and made him focus on nobody else but her. I think he knew what he was doing when cheating on Karen with Mary.

I just read Daredevil #171 for the first time yesterday. I was pretty surprised to see that Kingpin vs. Daredevil turned out to be a complete mismatch. I've always viewed Fisk as the superior of the two, but not by that vast of a margin. It was a good read, nonetheless.
