but it kinda of kills this game`s whole point disagree, I play a game to see the story from beginning to end. Once I've had my first run without one. I will use FAQS shamelessly as it's basically just using the deleted scenes of a DVD. You want to see it and once you've watched it normal, just press the bottom to get what you want.

Eh, I've done it before I'll likely do it again. I'm not ashamed.

Normally I'm not against using an FAQ for a game. Sometimes, things are just goddamn hard and I don't have the time nor the desire to spend five hours figuring something out. For action games like Uncharted or Devil May Cry or Ninja Gaiden, I don't use FAQs because they're about using your skills to actively get around enemies and obstacles in the most efficient way possible (mostly). But if I was playing Fire Emblem or, perhaps Final Fantasy (i am notoriously bad at strategy and role playing games), and getting my ass kicked repeatedly because of bad moves and I couldn't figure it out, I'd use an FAQ to help me get past the spot.
For Heavy Rain though, it felt like a real shame because the whole point of the game is the consequences of your choices. By using an FAQ to get the best ending in the last bit, it wasn't about my choices anymore and the consequences and I wasn't accomplishing anything legitimately. I might as well have watched the game on Youtube or something.
