The first poster for Steven Spielberg and Peter Jackson's The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn is now online and can be viewed below. The trailer is expected to hit soon as well. Opening in 3D, 2D and IMAX 3D theaters on December 23, the film features the captured performances of Jamie Bell, Daniel Craig, Andy Serkis, Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Gad Elmaleh, Toby Jones and Mackenzie Crook. The Adventures of Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn is the first in the series of 3D motion capture films based on the iconic character created by Georges Remi, better known to the world by his pen name "Hergé." The film stars Bell as Tintin, the intrepid young reporter whose relentless pursuit of a good story thrusts him into a world of high adventure. The movie adapts both Hergé's "The Secret of the Unicorn" and "Red Rackham's Treasure," using the title of the former.

I can't see the pic (likely glitch, or slow internet connection on my part, though), but I'm a huge Tintin fan so I'm looking as much forward to this as possible.

I can't decide if that's a really cool poster or a really bad one. Hmm.

Googled it, and it looks fine. Not outstanding, but it's alright.

Didn't even realise Steven Moffat did the screenplay. He's a great writer.

Tintin looks a little odd, but I like the art style and it's a really good looking movie. I haven't read Tintin in a looooooonnnnnggg time but I'm enjoying the nostalgic feeling it's evoking.
