I am actually afraid to take this test if it is accurate. I would probably cry at how far I have let myself go. . I'm highly doubtful it's acurate, most Internet IQ tests aren't. Like Crom said it only tests a specific area of intelligence, so I think your safe. I just posted this for fun anyway Fear won out over fun. I will avoid the IQ tests like they have aids until I exercise my brain. Now where are my Brain Age games? |

I got a 114. I think it's good enough for me. Especially if i consider the fact that i was too bored and lazy to actually try to think better some answers, so i just use a random answer.  |

The last time I had an actual full blown IQ test (not web based) and conducted by a psychologist, the result indicated a value above 150. If I get chance I'll take a run at this test.

Genius typically starts at 160 , my dad's was recorded at 166 (not in this one) I think it was so he's considered a genius probably but IQ tests aren't very accurate , Einstein scored 160 , impressive yes but few if any men have ever achieved what he has intellectually my father for one has achieved no where near what Einstein has yet scored higher , proffesional IQ tests are often inaccurate let alone internet tests.

It's far from an accurate test. To be so it would have to test on a much wider base of knowledge.
WAY back at the end of my primary school days our entire form was made do an IQ test. I was made do it twice and then My parents were called in, to be informed that I clearly wasn't trying in school, I should be dux of the form. They didn't let go until a psychologist reran the test and informed them that the answers that raised my score were simply things beyond primary school level (because I had a love of electronics, physics, chemistry and other sciences that weren't studied that much in primary - and read a lot of science journals, and built shit like radios etc with an electronics set). He also told them it wasn't an appropriate test for that age group (which was why I made a comment on one the intelligence power grid threads about an IQ test at an age- the .
I got 116, skipped about 10 question because I couldn't honestly be bothered spending more than the 4 minutes I did on it. Seriously I think that would be too high for me in today's standards. The knowledge of man IIRC doubles every 4 years and I only had 130 40+ years ago at 10, and I certainly haven't kept up with science in a couple of decades
