I thought he was female because of the voice too. Plus I think he was referred to as female a couple of times IIRC.

In the Greek version, indeed it has been referred many times as a female, but it seems that it was wrong. =]

Were saibamen equal to Raditz in terms of power? =] Regular Saibamen are under Raditz but the ones Vegeta and Nappa had were advanced Saibamen. These Saibamen are more or less Raditz' equal though I would say he could squeeze out a victory against a single advanced Saibaman.

Yeah, dubs are incorrect a lot of times. According to English dubs, Goku had FTL speed/reaction time by the time Raditz arrived on Earth. He was much faster than lightning as a kid, early on in Dragonball though.

Raditz dodged an energy beam from Piccolo and he said something along the lines of "This can't be, he's faster than...light." Honestly, Akira Toriyama never had any interest in specifying strength levels/speeds and all that, like in comics, but Goku in Dragonball was much faster than lightning.

What was the name of the teleportation trick he learned after he defeated Freeza? The one that Cell copied. Instant teleportation?
