Goku isn't really so much "cool" as he is likable, but seeing as I like likable characters more than cool pricks I'm fine with that.
Anyway, the coolness that Problem Sleuth oozes when he's not being fucked over by weird puzzle shit eclipses anything Goku or Spidey could come up with. Mind you this is balanced out because PS is almost constantly surrounded by weird puzzle shit, so take that as you will.

Actually, in all seriousness, Goku is a pretty cool character and even though i don't believe that, i can understand why some people believe that he is cooler than Pete. Also this is a personal opinion.

Goku's meant to be a clueless, funny, manchild who loves the art of fighting. He has cool moments for sure, but I wouldn't classify him as a cool character, though he's the coolest to me.  That's why Vegeta and Piccolo are there. |
