[a href=" "][/a][/url] Based on reliable sources cited by Latinoreview.com, Thanos, the Mad Titan, a frequent adversary of cosmic characters such as Mar-Vell, the Silver Surfer, Adam Warlock, and, due to his limitless ambition, the Avengers themselves, will have a major part in the upcoming film.
Like the development, if it indeed materialises? Dislike it?

I don't think they should use him right away. The next film will have to be someone who can be a bigger threat. Like Galactus maybe? Because you'd be thinking, well the survived him, so so and so shouldn't be a problem.
Unless they hint at him in the film. That'll be fine.

So, we're potentially dealing with: -Cosmic cube -Loki -Thanos -Hulk vs remaining Avengers
All in just one film? Well, I trust Whedon's capabilities when it comes to entertainment, but this is a major task. It's still early, so perhaps some aspects have been overhyped (such as Loki's role or even the cosmic cube). After all, this might now include the infinity gauntlet as well. I guess we'll wait and see, but one thing is for sure---Whedon has his plate full. Here's hoping this movie is AT LEAST two and a half hours. Anything less might feel too short. And let's face it, and Avengers movie SHOULD be that long, imho.

I think it should be long. I enjoy watching two and a half hour + comic films. I don't think they should deal with everything on the plate. Stretch them out like an actual comic. Have the main story, and bits and pieces orbiting the main story that will become main features in the sequels.

I'm hoping Thanos won't actually be a "big villain" at least not in this film. A behind the scenes presence of a cameo with a prospect of appearing in the following film would be preferable.

I strongly support that option. For the most part, tease the mainstream audience with the character and let the sequel flesh him out.

U Mad?
Probably because Thanos makes it before Darkseid.

I strongly support that option. For the most part, tease the mainstream audience with the character and let the sequel flesh him out. There's really so many things to do with him that it seems like a waste to include him so early - it detracts both from him, and the other antagonists. And the danger of the film degrading into Spider-Man 3 always exists.

I was under the impression, Thanos was based of Metron. Is that not right?

I was under the impression, Thanos was based of Metron. Is that not right? From what I hear, yes. Starlin originally drew insipiration from Metron, hence the flying chair and the constant search for ultimate knowledge/power. Then some friend saw the concept and told him that if he wants a villain, he should rip off Darkseid instead. Hence the Mad Titan was born.

Well, Spider-Man 3 was more-so disputes over being forced to include someone that the director didin't even want. That movie just had too many flaws to point out, imo.
Hopefully, Whedon has a healthy relationship with Marvel during this proccess and everyone is given their proper credit. I'm mixed on how signifcant of a role he'll play. We know Loki is involved, but he's already played the more of the main antagonist, and I question if they'd have him featured as one again so soon. The same applies to the cosmic cube since that will apparently be a primary focus in Captain America. I doubt they're fond of focusing on these items again, but then again it does give a sense of continuity--- almost as if the movies can be treated as a single comic series.
