Yeah I noticed the original art had the ring and the color phased it out. But the images worked fine for me on the previous page.

It could have been inker error. It happens from time to time. The inker will see something that does not make sense to them and glaze over it. It could have even been colorist error.
Or it could just be that they have decided against the ring this time.

if an inker/colorist doesnt know that Hal is suppose to have a ring, he doesnt deserve to work at DC

Okay. So now I guess this is Ultimate DC. Well I was going to try and get every issue to start but if this is just going to be a Ultimate Universe version like Earth One Superman, I see no need to get them all after all.

No, it's not Ultimate DC. They are starting everything with all new issue #1s. Unless they are putting the main DCU on hold for a long time, and are solely publishing an alternate DCU for years, then that won't be the case.

If they said we are launching all new #1's in addition to the current runs, then yeah, it would be Ultimate DC. This, not so much. Unless DC tries to pull some shit here that doesn't make sense.

Would be a pretty big waste to renumbering ever series to #1, redesign all the characters, change the teams, remove some characters, etc. for it to be a few months. I'd say it is permanent. Maybe what Bob just means is that they will keep some events that happened in the past cannon, like how it was previously stated Blackest Night would remain cannon or something like that.

Oh I see. Well that would seem strange seeing as how young some of these characters seem. It would be hard to believe all that has occurred so far happened in a matter of one or two years but I suppose it is possible.
