Who is the creative team behind it anyway? That is too bad though. I really like Slade too. Maybe a new writer will use him more appropriately. I understand (my comment was a joke to begin with, as I think you already know). Sometimes you just have to stay current and wait for the status quo to improve. Eric Wallace/Fabricio Fiorentino. Fiorentino is pretty good, I really enjoy his art even though it's somewhat uneven at times.
Yep, I caught the joke but I still wanted to give a few valid reasons.I have been hearing rumours of a Deathstroke ongoing ,also Morrisons Batman may indeed remain intact.

At least the WW/Superman romance sounds more like wishful thinking than an actual plan so far.

Any character in particular you guys think would benefit from the reboot? I wouldn't put it past Geoff to reboot the whole company just to tie-in with his Aquaman on-going.

Superman. It's win-win for him,Morrison,Johns,Lee,etc.Plus his supporting characters wont be as hard to establish as Batman's.I can see Conner and Kara returning with in 2 years.

I wonder how Johns' JLA will affect the other titles, since it's supposed to be the origin of the League.

Perhaps the story will shift back and forth between past and current events. Otherwise, plenty of established characters will need to be drastically altered, or also rejuvenated.

I was more so thinking that guys like Nightwing and Tim Drake will inevitably get the shaft.

I want to know what Flash is shown on that JLA poster. Is it Barry or Wally? I would assume Barry since Johns went out of his way to restore Barry to mainstream continuity, but Wally is more recognized by modern fans.
I also want to know what happened to the Martian. Cyborg possibly replacing him in the JLA? What BS.

Yeah, that struck me as odd, too. The team is basically the same as the one in Morrison's JLA revamp in 1997, with Cyborg replacing J'onn.

All in all, there was an idea I threw in the admin thread and I noticed Silver echoed it here perfectly: if they wanted to create a new universe from nothing, they could have just gone for the Ultimate route. No complaints by established fans, easily accessible to others, full creative liberty to writers and artists.

There are reasons that J'onn has been on so many JL rosters, from America to International to Task Force. The in-continuity reason is that the Manhunter considers his fellow JL members his family. The out-of-continuity reason is that writers seem to think that giving J'onn a solo title or even an occasional mini-series is this unforgivable sin that will make the DC universe explode if they did, and so they just throw him onto Justice League teams because he has nowhere else to go.
Having said that...
@barbatos: If there are that many, then I presume the Martian will be a part of it. A little insulting that he was not shown on the poster though, considering his pertinence to the team while Cyborg has virtually none.
