My team always has 5 steady members and one spot for different Pokemon I want to strengthen or evolve.

Mine are:
Attacking: Electivire, and Salamence or Metagross or Garchomp.
Special Attack: Lucario and Alakazam or Gengar or Espeon
Defence: Umbreon or Dusknoir
Special: Umbreon or Dusknoir

My current team is Groudon, Salamence, Infernape, Buizel and Bidoof. The sixth spot is constantly changing.

You clearly haven't took EVs into consideration.

I tend not to use legendaries. But there are many other Pokémon that are good, and (no offence) but the only one you have that's good is Salamence.

Non taken. I don't tend to use them too. Groudon must have one of the few times I used one.

He has many qualities. Like the summoning ability. Say you have someone like Houndoom and him out, you could use solarbeam from both Pokémon. Yes, a Houndoom can use Solarbeam.

I tend to prefer more versatile Pokemon like Dragonite and Salamence. And yeah his Drought ability is very useful.

But everyone uses Dragons and now everyone knows that all you need is an ice technique that does 4x damage or a dragon technique that does 2x damage.

I don't participate in any tournament with other people so that doesn't really concern me. Plus I don't use only dragons.

Well if you ever do let me know, because I'm very good at EVs and such. I fought someone who had all legendaries and I didn't have one. I had 6 normal Pokemon and he hit me 1, and that was at the beginning. I kept switching my Pokemon around so when he hit me, it did nothing or I absorb his attack and he was predictable.

I have battled a few times with some friends way back then. Strategy is everything in these battles. Ok then, I will let you know.
