Series: Witchblade Artist: Alex Ross Writer: Ron Marz Alex Ross on Witchblade? That is an interesting choice. I have personally never seen him draw what I would consider an attractive woman. His super women generally seem very masculine. An unfortunate truth. This is really my only criticism for Alex Ross. Mike Choi can draw good looking women without making them look like... how shall I put this? Whores?

Writer(s): Mike Benson Artists: Mike Deodato Jr "Who would they be writing for?" -A new and serious/darker Deadpool title. It can still have comedy, but let's focus on his devlopment. I'd like to see a title like this that, you know, made Deadpool a respectable character. He has a lot of potential, which is completely squandered by just about everyone who writes him.

Writer - John Ostrander Artist - Todd Mcfarlane Inks - Tony Dezunger (I think that's his name any way (loved his inks at the end of ASS run)
Title - Hunted featuring a team who know how to hunt the criminal element like no other
Manhunter - Mark Shaw Vigilante - Adrian Chase Argus - Mick Kelly Nemesis - Tom Tresser (written the way he was in Brave and the bold back up) Question -Vic Sage Cassy Cane Dutchess - the character Lashina was when she forgot her past after Apokolips attacked Belle Reve Deatshot - Floyd Lawton
Now that would be a kick ass team.

Alex Ross on Witchblade? That is an interesting choice. I have personally never seen him draw what I would consider an attractive woman. His super women generally seem very masculine. I love Alex Ross's work especially what he did in Kingdom Come and Justice. I just think it would be awesome as a total deviation in the style of artists who have drawn my favorite female american comic character. I mostly just find the choice curious because Witchblade spent the better half of her series being a fan-service character. I understand that now the suit covers her entirely but there is no arguing that it used to be a different story. Witchblade has never been just a fan-service character. She just had the bad luck of being created in the 90's only as an image imprint (all female characters created during that time suffered similarly by being created in the 90's). The "fan-service" in the art was present but it did have a logical explanation and really this only raised issues of art and writing dissonance.

Ross' is my favourite artist, and I will agree, he's not great at his female work.

Honestly I like that version of Diana she actually looks like what a real fighting woman would look like instead of the usual bikini babes we get
