Yeah, am surprised at that as well. Fate is such an awesome character.

The complete lack of Doctor Fate in any of the teasers and solicits does look bad to me.. Doctor Fate would should have been in the JLA line up. He is the perfect magic character to add to the team, along with Zatanna. Thought between two, I'd likely choose Zatanna because there's never enough sexyness running around.

Ron Marz will be writing in that section of the DCnu.

Oh and the belts do not serve any purpose for any character here except for Batman so I do not see what the big deal is. Though Superman does keep a kryptonite ring in his belt buckle in the soon-to-be olden days.

I think I've seen Superman do that actually. And that's why I believed he had that belt buckle thing.

I think I've seen Superman do that actually. And that's why I believed he had that belt buckle thing. He whipped out the kryptonite ring to smack Kara upside her head in Batman/Superman. But I have seen him use it before I just cannot remember where. That is why his buckle is led-lined. Specifically for the ring.

I like the random accents like belts. They give a splash of color to what could be a boring costume.

How would he use that against another kryptonian effectively anyways? As soon as he opens up that pocket he's going to be a less formidable opponent than Betty White.
