And by kill I mean "kill." Her goal was to heal Rogue. That is why she stole the baby. Because she knew the baby would heal Rogue (at the cost of Hope's life but Mystique did not care). Fortunately, Hope is mutant supreme so she just gave a cute little baby giggle instead of dying.

The proccess of attempting to elude Mr. Sinister and his forces to ally yourself with the X-Men (meanwhile stealing an incapacitated Rogue and infant Hope), a team you just turned on and almost killed one (Iceman), because of their promises, doesn't seem too likely to me. Especially considering she doesn't fear them to begin with.

Well in my scenario, she would not be playing double agent. She would be part of a wetworks squad and nothing more. Kill kill kill blood blood blood.

What would you offer her again? I mean, she's currently on the other team. How do you make the offer?

Mystique would be a great wetworks operative, no doubt about it.
The problem I have there is I'd never logically hire someone who has a pronounced history of betrayal and murder as soon as it becomes convenient for them.
