Coming October, and given that Greg Pak's multi-saga on the beloved jade giant is coming at an end, Wolverine and Ghost Rider scribe, Jason Aaron, and fan favourite Uncanny X-Men, Wolverine, and Top Cow illustrator Marc Silvestri, will usher the Incredible Hulk into a new age.Aaron revealed that the first storyarc will be called "Hulk Assunder", where the Hulk's multiple personalities will literally be at war with one another, resulting in havoc within the Marvel Universe.

Yeah boi. I can definitely dig it. So glad they bringin' back the other personalities. That was my favorite thing about Hulk before he got shipped off to Sakaar.

Why Silvestri? Why? Your place is a Top Cow dude, you know that company you founded. Ring a Bell?

crom- Joe Quesada explained it. Pretty much Marvel gave Marc some options of big name books and let him choose what he wanted to be on. Marc said he read Aaron's script and loved it, so bing bang boom, Marc Silvestri is on The Incredible Hulk.

You don't like Silvestri's art, or you don't think it is right for the Hulk?

You don't like Silvestri's art, or you don't think it is right for the Hulk? I love Silvestri's art. Which is why I believe his talent is totally wasted every moment he is not working for Top Cow, the company he founded. Working on characters and a universe I consider many many times more interesting then Marvel.

Aww. I don't know what titles he's been on recently.

Silvestri mostly worked for Marvel as an on-going artist before Top Cow existed. His only work for them (besides cover art) ever since, has been X-Men: Deadly Genesis, a 6 issue mini-series. Can't fault him for that, I fancy.

Nope you can't. That's what I figured actually because I looked him up on CV to see what he's actually been doing recently and I really couldn't find anything from Marvel.

I just remembered that he also worked as an interior artist in Morrison's New X-Men swan song, "Here Comes Tomorrow", but he did work for Top Cow in between that project (2004), and Deadly Genesis (2006). He was generally a very "mutant" themed artist (so to speak), since he was established as an Uncanny X-Men/Wolverine master, with renowned runs in both books.

From this series, yeah. From everything else, I most certainly hope not. Rulk is amazing.
