Not true at all. It's just your objective to prove said 'fact.' I might, but I still expect low participation.

Do it. Hopefully it will bring in more than basically just staff to these threads.

Yeah, I'm pretty let down the optic blast discussion has been revolving around staff (for the most part).

I think this should finally move on to a final verdict vote. Since I'm heavily invovled in the debate, I don't believe it would be fair for me to be a judge for this one. I think Strafe can take my place, since he stated he's not too familiar with how Scott's blast operates. This way, he can read the entire debate then generate his own vote. So, all in favor of judges being (for this discussion) ckal, Morph, and Strafe?

Then there's Storm also blocking Cyc's optic blast with lightning. I see Storm fans using this as an argument in her favor in several threads, and honestly, Storm deflecting an energy attack with lightning is one of the stupidest things I have ever seen. But then again, there are also examples of her somehow blocking telepathy with her lightning and changing her clothes with it. So congratulations to writers for being silly. At the end of the day, I'm thinking captions saying "at the speed of light" is more of a metaphor. The optic blast is clearly fast, but I think "light speed" is too much. I'm open to more evidence, obviously. But, that's my current thought on the matter. I agree with this.

lol. Like I said, I've only seen the scans and it was to bring up another example of one having time to react before the blast reaches them.
Hopefully this can move on to voting and we can begin another topic.

I've been involved in this debate as much as you have, so I am uncertain on my ability to judge accurately, considering I am in favour of your opinion in this particular debate.

I'll be back around 2pm and read it. I'll give my opinion then.

Well, which mod do you believe should replace you to vote?

Well, which mod do you believe should replace you to vote? Phantom would be a good choice, if he is willing.

I was in a similar situation so you may want to replace me as well.

For the purposes of this topic, I think
Vance Strafe Phantom
should be judges.

And we need more proposals! Come on users! I know you want prove something about your favorite characters so it will be counted as indisputable fact on the entire site!

There was a rather heated discussion over Harley Quinn in vs Nightcrawler, so I think a proposal about her (physicals) would be good.

This is off topic but needs to be said: Before we revamped the rules and how this works, there were at least 5 people within the span of hours trying to prove something. Now, after the changes, nobody has stepped up. We were not trying to limit or make it harder for people to try to prove something about a character, the decision to change it was made purely from an organizational standpoint so things will not get cluttered and messy, and so we could all focus our efforts on to one subject at a time. We want everyone's proposals and thoughts on these topics, so make sure to visit the Official Ledger Proving Grounds Proposal Thread to make a proposal and we will make sure we get to it as soon as possible. Thank you.

I will make a few proposals, but I will wait for this current discussion to end first. The Cyclops/optic beam/light speed issue has my full attention right now.

I will make a few proposals, but I will wait for this current discussion to end first. The Cyclops/optic beam/light speed issue has my full attention right now. Just list your proposals in the proposal thread so you have them up there. The only purpose for that thread is listing proposals. Until we announced and open the next topic for debate in this thread, you don't provide any evidence. When it is open here, that is when you start your debate for whatever.
