@strafe My favorite Batman villain is either Bane or Ra's Al Ghul. Because they are generically crazy and predictable like all the others. Mind, a well-written Riddler is fantastic but I don't see that often enough. Painkiller I think the Flash's powerset is good. He runs fast. Cool. The problem is they make him run so fast it stops making sense to a point. None of the Rogues should never come close to beating him by rights. Also, already pre-ordered it from JB Hi Fi. The Red Robin costume was a selling point, and considering EB Games had it for more money and less preorder bonuses and it was an easy decision. Overpriced though considering it is $99 in America and how currency is worth more than theirs. Means we get slugged $50 to import it when you could import a single copy for $15-20.

Yeah, that's annoying. But does importing work? I thought games bought in different countries, wouldn't work on our consoles.

Painkiller Importing does work, definitely. PS3 and PC games are not region locked. I don't know about Xbox360.

Is Captain Boomerang Tim Drake's Joker?

No, apart from the fact Captain Boomerang died the same night he killed Tim's father he was never one of Tim's enemies. Tim Drake's biggest villain is probably Ra's Al Ghul, who has taken an interest in Tim.

Yeah but he's never been a villain for Tim. He's more of a rogue for the Flash.
Why on earth a guy who throws boomerangs would be a challenge for a guy running 800 million times the speed of light is totally beyond me though.

Do you think Tim Drake should get a boost in fighting skill?

Yes and no. After Shiva's training I thought he would become a legitimate threat to his enemies in hand to hand. Unfortunately a lot of writers pretend he is incapable of taking down even moderate level enemies up close. I think what he needs more than a boost is for writers to acknowledge the boosts he has already had.
He's had much more training than Dick Grayson ever had. But he's not a natural athlete like Dick is. But then again, the fact that he can't take apart everyone he encounters with his bare hands does make Tim better to read. Confrontations seem much more dangerous and dramatic with him because you honestly don't know if he has what it takes to win against established fighters. So I'm not sure he needs to be written as a walking wrecking ball to improve his solo title.

I put my thoughts in the news thread we have since the announcement was made. I think it's attention seeking, gimmicky bullcrap. The last thing in the world comics need is gimmicks over substance.

I agree. Do you think anyone else is worthy\should wear be Batman besides Bruce Wayne himself? (e.g. Dick Grayon, Terry McGinnis, Damien Wayne)

No, I don't. I think no one can be Bruce Wayne's Batman. No one else can put the level of intensity on that he does. Being Batman is completely consuming to him. Who knows what Damian Wayne will grow up to be but at the moment he certainly isn't serious enough to be Batman. Dick Grayson has always been his own man, that's what Nightwing is being about. Pretending to be Bruce is just a forfeiting of his existence up until that point, which I don't think is something Bruce would have wanted.
Terry McGinnis is a good Batman but he is for two reasons. Firstly, Bruce Wayne is no longer capable of being Batman. Secondly, he exists in a time period that needs a Batman Beyond, not a Batman as we know him. He is THE Batman of his time period. The same as Batman One Million is THE Batman of his time period. Anyone else being Batman in the current time period is invariably pretending to be Bruce.

That's a really, really difficult one.
I would have to say Metal Gear Solid.
But within a fraction are Final Fantasy and Mass Effect.
