I didn't include recent new series(DD, Cap or Punisher) and tried to limit it to volumes with under 12 or so issues. I was also trying to stick to characters who haven't spent quite a bit in the Marvel spotlight. (i.e. Avengers, Thor, FF, etc)

Nice thread, Jake. Please feel free to promote this on our facebook page, too.
A lot of really good options. I'm almost certain Uncanny X-Force will win the most votes, but I was torn between X-23 / Rulk. In the end, it takes a lot to turn the infamous Rulk title into something so enjoyable, and Parker was able to pull it of. So, that earns my vote.

I definitely enjoyed Storm Hunter, but the other stories really didn't catch my interest. Not to knock the creative team, but it was Kraven (obviously) that drew me to the title.

I haven't caught up on BP. Storm Hunter was definitely fun and I'm enjoying the Fear Itself storyline.

Has Parker really turned Rulk around this much? If so, give that man a medal. Loeb's storylines went like this by the fourth or fifth issue: - intro - brief dialogue - full splash page/large fight scenes - brief dialogue - full splash page/large fight scenes - a cliffhanger that doesn't come close to leaving you begging for more
That was easily one of the worst ongoing series' Marvel put out, so props to Parker if his writing has been unanimously accepted and the series isn't getting constant shit reviews like it used to.

@accord
It's remarkably better than Loeb.

Yeah, the reviews for Red Hulk have been largely positive/very positive, at least until a few months ago. It's been a while since I checked.

I'll vouch for their quality. Granted, the off world 2 issue arc felt like a respite from his Earthly villains and cast and wasn't the high quality of the rest of the run.

I would have voted UXF and Venom if I could, but I had to choose one. Venom it is.
