This thread is proof that Marvel's gimmick worked. They want this conversation to be happening. That's why it is.They know as well as we do that Rulk has no business being an Avenger.

Ironically Red Hulk is more likely to work in a team than regular Hulk, maybe they want to have a Hulk in the team for a movie adaption or something?

Decoy Elite( Tim ), GreenLantern: Sorry for the late response. I think it will be good for the fact that he was more of a villain. Then joining heroes and especially with someone that he has beaten in the past, i think it will be interesting. =]

Not too excited about this, I really dislike Red Hulk, but I was happy to see Thor and Iron Man beat his face in.

This guy beat the tar out of the Marvel universe for three years. I want Reed to ship his ass to the Negative Zone, toss him in an adamantium/vibranium box and throw away the fucking key.

LOL You're almost going to get your wish. In Red Hulk's series, the next issue (as the end of #26 showing the beginning of) Red Hulk almost gets swallowed up by a black hole, by Thor flies in and saves him on the edge of it right when he was about to go all the way in. I think its obvious that Red Hulk is being added to the roster simply to rile things up. The timeline arc basically ended in issue #6 so they need something new.

I would have preferred Thunderbolt Ross joined.... You guessed it, the Thunderbolts! If there was any team he belonged on, that would be it.

I just read the book. It's actually pretty good.....
SPOILERS
Parker Robins was most badass when he was powered by Dormammu. I don't care if he gets the IG, he will ALWAYS be more badass as Dormammu to me... unless Bendis pulls something REALLY epic.

How does Red Hulk fit in with the team? I guess there really isn't much to say about it before you give it away and I'll be getting it soon anyways. But after reading the issue, is it a welcome addition for you?

Yep, from one side I hear Avengers need new storylines and others are complaining about this new "Rulk" thing. Also, I'm pretty sure the first arc was a set up for the Ultron war arc.

I think this new arc with the power gems is interesting, and I'm wondering how Rulk is going to fit into this book.

Not a fan of the idea, I think he should stay a villian.
