Just a side note, units in RTS games can count as a "favorite weapon." For example, I could say "Protoss Zealot" for fav weapon.

shouldnt we wait more? there are still unreleased games that might take the spot.
You should also you add the ``Best game nobody bought`` cattegory,as well as best Open World,Shooter,Fighter,best sound,graphics,etc...
That ,of course, without ignoring the best DS,PS3,Xbox 360,PSP and Wii games.

I'm well aware there's quite a few big titles still to be released. No harm in having some fun in the meantime, then later returning after the other games come out.
Best graphics is already in there. And as the OP says, it's subject to update. I plan on adding individual categories for genres, I just haven't had time since I'm preoccupied at work.

Definitely. There's also huge hits like the next CoD, GoW,etc. Personally, I'm not thrilled but I know others are.

Favorite shooter (first/third person): Mass Effect 2
Favorite RTS/Strategy game: Starcraft 2 obv.
Favorite RTS unit:
For Protoss: Colossus/Stalker/Sentry is great. Chargelot/Archon is great also.
For Terran: Marine/Marauder/Medivac drop into supply line. Siege Tank/Thor/Viking is very solid too.
For Zerg: I love Baneling/Zergling or Mutalisk for harass. But I have to say my eyes light up when I'm morphing in 20 Ultralisks to compliment Roaches and Hydras. It's like christmas came early because I know one way or the other I'm going to sheer steel in half and demolish the shit out of someones army/base/everything.
Favorite sports game: NBA 2K11
Favorite fighter: Marvel vs Capcom 3
Favorite special move in a fighter: Dante's air combos.
Favorite sound: The matrix-like 'woosh' when you hit the button for Typhoon in Deus Ex: HR.
