Nightwing can be scratched off the list. I found a respect thread for him on KMC.
However, I am still very interested in learning about Shatterstar.

You mean this guy? Langstrom is "Man-Bat" not bat-man". he was a geneticist who was working on a serum to help the deaf to hear by giving them the Radar from a bat.

I just thought of something that I've realized I've never fully understood: where did Captain America get his fighting skill? As far as raw skill is concerned, Cap is always put on roughly the same level as people like Batman, Wolverine, Daredevil, ect. Batman has been training for his war on crime since he was very young, became a ninja, studied martial arts from some of the most skilled people in the world, etc. Wolverine has been in combat consistantly for over a century, recieved samurai training in Japan, etc. Daredevil got training very similar to Batman's. But where did Cap get his nearly-unparalelled skill? All he did was get pumped up with some drugs and join the Army.

Valid question and is something that I've wondered myself. I kinda figured he got basic training and after he got pumped up, pretty much went straight into battle.

In the retcon, Steve actually had spent quite a while training before he got the injection. That would only give him at best, advance military combat training but with his enhanced mind, he is able to master things very quickly. Beast said it himself just recently, Captain America can master something like an unknown weapon almost instantly. It stands to reason that it applies across the board. He very likely learned and mastered techniques in days that would take normal people decades.
