Storm isn't really an Omega level is she? Please say not. Never confirmed to my knowledge. But anyone that has not been confirmed could still have a case made for why they SHOULD be an Omega mutant. Those such cases would make the honorable mention list.

Here's an excerpt on Bobby's power levels from writer Mike Carey: "Generally, Jean Grey is thought to be the most powerful of the original X-Men -- who also included Angel, Beast and Cyclops -- but Carey feels that when you consider the full range and implications of Iceman's powers, one could make a case for Bobby Drake being just as powerful as Jean Grey. "We've heard in the past that he's an Omega level mutant and at the height of his game he definitely is," Carey said. "He has powers that can influence the ecosystem of the entire world. We seldom see him operating on that level though. Things that he's been able to do in the past aren't always acknowledged as being part of his core power se. We've seen him get partially destroyed and recreate himself, which is something I had him do again in an adjectiveless 'X-Men' arc. He gets blown apart and than he just grows himself back again because he's made up of ice and ice is a crystal. With a crystal, every single part contains enough information to recreate the whole. I think the potential of his powers is almost limitless."www.comicbookresources.com/?page=article&id=17883

I am sure that Iceman has been listed as an Omega before, but he cannot make the list without at least one issue confirming his status. This would certainly make the honorable mention list though.

I wonder if Emma confirmed it when she stole his powers?

Found quite a few confirmed Omegas in the X-Men: 198 Files.

Interesting. In the issue I had in mind (UXM #314) she simply states his powers as being nearly limitless.

I always considered Iceman among the Omegas. Fortunately we do have at least one issue confirming his status. I feel like there are more though.

I would like more issue references though. The more the better actually. You can never confirm someone's abilities or power levels too much in comic debates.

I saw that. No one has confirmed issue references there though.

I was sad to see that as well. Someone forgot to mention that alt universes do not count.

Anyone got a reference on Vulcan? Someone said it was in Uncanny 483, but I flipped through that issue twice and unless I just kept missing it as a skimmed over it, it is not there. This was on Marvel Wiki( not always rite but its worth a look if anybody has the comic) Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 #14, page 10 It's correct. Adam Warlock is the one who says it.

I'd also want to give Savior Cable some props. At his peak, two confirmed Omegas, such as Iceman and Rachel Grey were practically non-factors to him, along with an entire squad of X-Men.

Believe me, I would love to have him on the list, but I want actual confirmation of the title. He certainly gets the props though.

Same here. Unfortunately there is no explicit mentioning of him being an Omega to my knowledge.
