If you are going to make a movie that is part of the series, they could have at least tried to make it seamless with the first film. Like I said, it was like it was an alternate universe movie or something.
I did not even touch on the quality of everything else either (such as acting and dialogue), which I took issue with as well.

Does anyone know when the third movie is about to be released? July 1, 2011 from What I've heard.

The movie site now has the third movie's title on it. There is absolutely nothing else there yet though. I wonder when a trailer will come out.

You'd think someone in the other two films would have mentioned what NASA found or had the Autobots / Decepticons pick it up. Oh well, at least it looks cool.

The trailer looked okay. I'm not sure if that bot at the end is Alpha Trion or Primus though. I doubt it's Unicron as some people are saying.

I liked the first one. I didn't like the second one.

Absolutely loved the first movie. I enjoyed aspects of the second as well, but it was no where close to being on par with the original. Too campy and way too many inconsistencies and plot holes. Also agree that a lot of the "human" stuff is boring. There are funny parts, but I think some of it was a little on the crass side considering the target demographic. It's a movie about toys, after all.
All that said, my son and I will definitely be seeing "Dark of the Moon."

Those were both pretty interesting articles. I must say that the FAQs also mirror my feelings towards the latter parts of the Transformers movie franchise.
