Yes, I know that technically this is not an anime since it is American-made. But I just say screw that. Close enough.
Who else is a fan of Avatar? Anybody psyched for The Legend of Korra miniseries next year?

I watched the film, not seen the series but I do believe that M. Night Sham...whatever his name is has lost his ability to write. After Signs, it went downhill, actually Signs wasn't that good. Had it's moments. I could see loads of potential from the film characters and story. So I'm guessing the series IS that potential?

Think of it this way, if I never saw the potential of the film, because hoe bad it was, I never would have looked the series up. I love Sokka's character. Specially the volcano one. I me laughing the most.
"Whoa! Sometimes forget what a powerful bender he is." Sokka "What?" Katara "Powerful bender."

I began watching it 13 Nov, 2010, 16:52pm and at 16 Nov, 2010, 04:52am I have finished watching all 3 Books. That's 61 Episodes in 60 hours. Not bad I must say so. I had sleep in that time. Missed a lecture at Uni'. Dedication as well. And now I will be working on a Avatar story of my own.

Which style of bending would you guys want, if you could only use one?

Well from the story am creating my guy bends air. Aang never had enough creativeness to use it well. However he did have the Avatar ability.
So Air, you can, with enough force move Earth, change the course of Fire and Water.
I'm a the character stage. Haven't done much for a story.

I think a single Airbender managing to move Earth is a stretch. I'm familiar with air dynamics and applying a change in the flow/course of the air, perhaps even reversing it. Aang was the only Airbender we got to see a great deal from, and he was the Avatar too. I do agree that he isn't the most creative Airbender, but moving the Earth just doesn't seem like something an Airbender would be capable of.
